Ekosistemin içerisinde insanın herhangi bir canlı gibi davranarak gıda ihtiyacını temin ettiği alanlara Kadim Üretim Havzası (KÜH) denir. Yeryüzü ile kurulan bu davranış biçimi; yiyecek sağlamış, temel ihtiyaçla- rı gidermiş ve aynı zamanda gelenekleri, kültürle- ri oluşturmuştur. Bu yaşam biçimi bütün canlılarla paylaşılan ekosistemin devamlılığını da sağlamıştır. Tohumları toprağa ekerken söylenen eski bir Anadolu deyişi bu kadim davranış biçimini “Kurda, kuşa, aşa!” diyerek açıklamaktadır.

The areas within the ecosystem where humans meet their food needs by acting like any living creature are called Ancient Production Basins (KÜH). This form of behavior established with the earth; It provided food, met basic needs and also created traditions and cultures. This way of life has also ensured the continuity of the ecosystem shared with all living things. An old Anatolian saying when planting seeds in the ground describes this ancient behavior as "To the wolf, to the bird, to the bird!" they explain.
